Even if some seo specialists deny (or at least discus) the importance of PageRank (SEO , Search Engine Optimization), the quaterly celebratet PageRank-Update of Google is always awaited with bated breath.

The latest PageRank-Rollout punishes link vendors and linkfarms and related sites, as mentioned in several press reports. Linkfarms are sites with high PageRank, which sale backlinks to other sites. Google tried already with different changes in the ranking alhorithm to take linkfarms their selling arguments. No it seems to be succsessful... PageRank of link vendors and related sites seems to be cutted by several ranking points.

But as usual Google isn't giving a lot of additional information. That's why even SEO-Experts can only guess, if it was just a normal change in the algorith ore if it was a real punishment against linkvendors.
